Description
Rotathene® Aviation FR is based on a hexene co-polymer Linear Low Density Polyethylene resin (LLDPE) specifically designed for rotational moulding applications. Rotathene® Aviation FR is a special purpose LLDPE resin intended for applications requiring a medium to high level of flame retardancy while retaining a good balance of impact properties and has been designed to comply with the requirements of some Australian and FAR Airworthiness Standards. Rotathene® Aviation FR contains a high level of UV stabiliser to provide protection for outdoor applications**
A colour matching service for Rotathene® Aviation FR for alternative colour options is available upon request. Exact colour matches of darker or primary colours may not always be possible due to the influence of the high level of flame retardant additives on the final colour.
This grade is not suitable for articles in contact with food, drinking water or medicinal products.
Note: Types and levels of pigments or other additives as well as part shape and wall thickness may affect properties of flame retardant grades. Suitability of the grade and colour in the final part should be confirmed before use.
